Update 2 weeks: Archer The Foster Cat

Archer has been with me for a week and a half; he is pretty much one of the family.

Although I still keep him separated while I’m away from home, the rest of the time, he is free to roam the house. Little Miss and Archer have now become friends and are often racing around the house chasing one another. Archer is very playful and loves his toys; it’s as though he has become a kitten!

Day 6 of Archer’s progress

Today I decided to create a larger ‘safe’ area for Archer to explore. His room opens out to a hallway where all doors can be shut, apart from the living area, which I have a pet gate across. This area creates an excellent area for him to explore without completely shutting him off.

Day 5 of Archers Progress

Yesterday was day five of Archers journey.

Archer is still sleeping under his bed (not on it) but seems more relaxed around me, especially as I’m popping in and out all the time. I highly recommend using a bathroom as a safe house for new fur babies, not only is it easy to keep clean but it’s a room you often visit so they get familiar with you being around.
